Due to the renovation of the office building where he works, Akihito Natsuki is suddenly given a one-month vacation that coincides with his summer break. With no money and nothing to do, he decides to spend a relaxing time in his hometown. Waiting for him there are Kaori Umi, whom he once had feelings for, and Sayako, who has always been kind to him like a mother figure. Akihito plans to hide his true feelings and play the role of a stepbrother as usual, but a slip of the tongue leads him to express his true feelings unintentionally.
